CNA Classes in VA | Nutrition and Human Anatomy

In order to become a certified nurse aide in Virginia, it is essential that a student must complete state and federal approved at least 120 hours of classroom and practical clinical hands-on training, supervised by a registered nurse. All training programs must meet the standards of the Medicare and Medicaid Services centers. It is the responsibility of the Virginia Board of Nursing, on behalf of the state government, to approve, manage and regulate numerous VA CNA certification programs throughout the state.

One must also remember that a CNA can also avail financial assistance and reimbursements to their training cost and certification fees by getting employed within one year of earning of Certification.

There are also free and online training programs in Virginia. For free training program, a student needs to apply for various state and federal grants, financial schemes and scholarships.
Even American Red Cross offers quality training in Richmond, Virginia and, an individual can join the program by completing the enrollment requirements of the Red Cross.
