Over 60 Schools in Florida offer CNA Classes

CNA Training in Florida comprises of 120 hours of state and Congress passed the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act 1987 (OBRA -87) approved and mandated accredited programs. The total training consists of 40 hours of clinical training and rest time is spent on classroom theoretical courses instructions. The training program is offered at community and vocational colleges, trade schools, adult education institutes, long-term care facilities and high schools.

There are also few prerequisites for enrolling in the CNA Training schools and they include:

• A high school diploma or GED.
• 18 years or above age
• Free from any kind of communicable or infectious disease.
• Clear the criminal background check.

There are also free and paid training for the deserving students and for free programs, a student need to apply for state and federal grants and scholarships or agree to long term care facility condition of working in the facility after the completion of the training.
